Mac vs Windows

v Mac V Vista which one to pick. Well first how safe is it. Well look at these Graph:

Well this was a easy one mac is more safe. Sorry I mean Windows Vista is.

The next thing I looked at was it’s ease of use. This one was difficult. For someone who is familiar with a mac will think mac is easy to use. But for someone like me who is familiar with a pc  I would say Vista is was more easy to use. So it depends who you are. But Vista is easy to use with a laptop because it has flip 3-d to switch windows instead of having to use a small annoying mouse pad to get to switch programs. Mac has something like that called expose or something like that but you still have to use the mouse pad.

Now we have to look at the amount of programs. Windows has 10 times more programs so rock on windows. But that also means more viruses.

Now how many games do mac and windows have. Well for some reasion the amount of games for a mac is low really low and it seems to be decresing eventhough it’s growing popularity the amount of games is going down. It is now time to find out how much entertanment program is incluidedwith the os. Apple wins that competitoin.

Now we are going to look at the gui here are some photos:

Mac:

Windows:

Personally I like the way windows locks. You get bored of the Mac one after about 2 weeks.Personally I prefer Windows

Vista ftw! I never thought I’d say that, cause when vista came out and I tested it, all i got was instability and incompatability, but thanks to windows update and SP1, Vista is pretty solid for me, have not had a crash or major issue so far this year.

Now i’m not burning mac here, I have used mac before and found it simple and useable for the average person, but growing up with windows I have grown accustomed to the little things liek the close buttons on the top right and such, and the ability in xp and vista to hack msstyles and use all sorts of crazy visual themes, I feel like windows is more customizable for me than mac. Also there is the issue of compatability, the world runs on windows, all my fav games and programs run on windows, with mac thats not a realistic possibility (keep in mind i say Mac as in MAC OS, a physical mac is now just a overpriced proprietary pc with EFI and a TPM chip, and you can install windows on it too)

I have to agree with the comment above. My firs encount with Vista was rahter disappointing. Instability was for real. However, after uninstalling it and coming back to XP I realised what the main cause of instability was. It was my zonealarm firewall. So, I rushed back to Vista, didn’t instal zonealarm and none of my games or problemas have ever frozen fo far. Vista is pretty Solid. But I have to say that Vista is still disappointing to some poeple as it has not got much new cool features to the table.
