Video of Windows 7 Hits the Web

This is the first official and real video of Windows 7. It’s from the D6 conference where Steve Balmer showed of the new operating system which is expected to be launched in 2009-2010. The most innovative features of Microsoft Windows 7 is the multi touch. It may just spark the touch revolution. I also saw some Microsoft Surface technology when the photo viewer was opened.  I have a very important question, I took a screen shot from the video and a fake screen shot of Windows 7. I need to wonder if Microsoft has been copying the features of the people who made the fake photos:

Do you see the similarity, Their both shaped like doughnuts. It may just be me. Please put you’re thoughts about it below. The last feature they showed was a 3-D piano. Breaking news about The Road to Windows 7

The Electronic Playground has gotten so valuable information about Windows 7 Release date. A person at Microsoft whose name wants to be kept secret says Windows 7 will be released in late 2009 or  early 2010. We have also gotten the Windows 7 timeline:

  • Milestone 1 – Already available to Microsoft Partners.
  • Milestone 2 – April/May 2008
  • Milestone 3 – Third Quarter 2008
  • BetaTo be determined
  • Release CandidateTo be determined
  • RTM – Second half of 2009
  • Release – Late 2009 – Early 2010

From now until the launch of Windows 7 we will be covering the Road to Windows 7





iPhone launch in Canada… disappointing

If you where wondering while I have not posted in a while I was in Jamaica. Now to the importing stuff…

 

On July 11th 2008 the iPhone was introduced to Canada. The smell of huge expectations was in the air, excitement and lines for blocks at Rogers Wireless stores all for… Disappointment.
