Windows 7 TaskBar, More Like “SuperBar”

 

Some of you with a good eye might have noticed at the D6 conference when they were demonstrating Windows 7’s  multi-touch that the taskbar looked different. It appeared to have different shades of black on the taskbar. It also was thick like the photo below (figure 1), but the “Windows Orb” was on top instead of in the middle.

Windows 7 “Superbar”

It’s hard to see the Windows 7 “SuperBar” because it is fuzzy so you can just watch the video for yourself to get a better view.

When asked about the new SuperBar she said that she could not talk about it with some hesitation in her voice(5:25). Also I could not help but notice that the windows in the taskbar had no words beside it like Mac OS X but it’s apparently just a rendering issue.
