My firs encount with Vista was rahter disappointing. Instability was for real. However, after uninstalling it and coming back to XP I realised what the main cause of instability was. It was my zonealarm firewall. So, I rushed back to Vista, didn't instal zonealarm and none of my games or problemas have ever frozen fo far. Vista is pretty Solid. But I have to say that Vista is still disappointing to some poeple as it has not got much new cool features to the table. I have to agree with the comment above.
